hollah! sorry about that email i just sent; it was from a
long time ago and im not sure that i ever sent it.
bref. thats another story. one thing i was confused about in
your stories is how you all said we had a great time in california but then i
just saw pictures of snow and heard stories about adventures with no hummer, and
lots of winterous fallen trees?
lesson: audrey gets confused easily and isnt observant.
where were you besided california again? :)
my little californian just left me. to go where? FAAROA!!!!!
with who? SR STINE LARSEN!!!!! what the heck is happening???? hahahaha everyone
i know is going to serve in that place. so im alone until tomorrow night when i
will find out who my new comp is cause guess what else? imma be a mom
again.
lesson: God wants all of my friends to serve with sr larsen
and also he wants me to be an actual good mom one day.
but im so happy for you kids and your roller coaster of a
life. yes dad im really sorry for not writing more last week i know im lame. if
it makes you feel better i hardly have time to write in my journal. or shower
or breathe haha. i loved hearing about all of the adventures and tha dad is
still very determined to see those national parks. i had a dream we were in a
national park in africa and that i got lost so you all thought i was dead. but
i wasnt and so it was fine. and there was this elder from my zone who turned
out to be my long lost brother (he looks like ian to me so i think thats why my
brain did that). anyway that was beside the point
lesson: i should write about more important things
sorry
ok heres the important good details! last week was like the
best week ever cause we just saw so many miracles and had such a good time!
theres this 21 year old kid we teach, his name is Chico. for one thing that
name is swag and for another thing he is super swag also. he doesnt have the
usual mindset we kind of see here, which is "ill sit around and wait for
the truth to come to me and then maybe ill decide to come to church and read."
no hes very proactive and although hes a heavy smoker of weed, he wants to
change his life and we just fixed his baptism for the 13th of may
lesson: pray for chico! and laugh about his name. how is it
that those who progress have cool spanish names?
the other day i just felt like i needed to fast! that doesnt
happen very often cause fasting is really difficult for me in the first place.
im kind of a baby in the heat and humidity and endless hiking. but i just had
this.. huge desire to fast for a few certain amis. so i did and guess what? it
wasnt even hard! we walked so so much that day but i was happy as a clam. and
guess what else!!? in the next two days after everything i had fasted for was
realised a little bit! people got answers to their prayers and came to
activities and church.
lesson: go fast
heres a list of people to please pray for:
Gina
Maui
Chico
Etau
Simon
Noarii
Antonella
Soon
Moerava
Paul
Leon
Moana
Toahere
Bruno
Hanalei
Tame
Alexandre
i loved general conf. i watched most of it in french and
understood most of it hahah :) proud of myself. the talk about making goals
made a good impact and call for repentance for me.
i think my theme of the last transfer would have to be
potential. its something that keeps coming to my mind and im inspired to talk
about during lessons. that is something i have noticed gets to peoples hearts
and minds and makes them want to change, when you ask them who they would
really like to be. then you show them who God made them to be. its something
that opens up our mind to the true light of the purpose of the gospel- who we
really are in his eyes. i think dad said something along those lines in his
letter, a quote by pres eyring about how he saw a noble and bright son of god
in someone who had commited a great crime. i am in agreeance! hahaha God sees
us so so so much infinitely different than we see ourselves or others. its
really these past few weeks that ive had some crazy spiritual experiences with
that. more than one person has made a 180 turn because we explained to them
that their perfect idea of themselves is possible through the atonement of
Christ and in his ordonnances.
funny story
theres a ton of little kids that play in the road in one
spot in our sector. at first when we would pass they would just drop their ball
and stare or glare at us. until we stole the ball one time, then they became
our friends. we started playing this game where we call each other lots of
names. they say "whats your name?" then well say stupid stuff like
"soeur maa" (sister food) and they lose it. they laugh so so so hard.
we call the smallest ones papi and mami or "peanut face" and they
love us. but last time we were there they started pointing behind us and
yelling "taero!! taero!" (drunk man) we were like "haha stop
joking around" but then i felt this slimy hand that was covered in beer on
my shoulder and smelled some strong scents. he was really tall and scary but we
tried to be nice to him anyway as he got super close to our faces wanting to do
the kissy kissy cheek thing and we took our bums quickly out of there.
the kids DIED they were on the dirty ground busting their
guts.
Aj and Nicole sorry youre so busy and up to your heads in
homework and didnt get to go with everyone else. whats the news on the trip to
uganda again?
ian!!!! im so proud of you congrats on making exec for green

and me youre my favorite isaac that lives. i dont know the original, the son of
abraham, but i think id still like you more cause youre rad. what are you doing
with your life these days? making gingerbread houses? easter eggs? did you get
teesh something for her bday?
so i really love all of you but i dont have tons of time like usual. but here, heres a little bit of something that might be cool for your eyes to read

and shes gonna be with AUGUSTINE LARSEN darn it president is playing games with
me sending everyone i know to be with sr larsen. one day i will be your comp

lesson: i love you guys so so so much!! i thank heavenly father
every night for my foundation of crazy people i left back in utah. what is
utah? i feel like its a magical land by this point with magical white
people.
but for reals thank you so much. none of you realize the
full extent of how much you actually help me individually.
but anyway, im gonna train another daughter!!! im so lucky
to be having two children soon. ill meet her tomorrow! pray for my second
child
life is good. very very good. we are seeing some great
success lately :)
