I will never have breast cancer/I don't Noah 2/20/17
sorry about the lame email last week. I'll try to make this
one better
we will start off on a good note- I forgot about Valentine's
Day! I did not do a single thing for anyone on that day so I am so so sorry. I
didn't even eat chocolate. I don't remember what I ate... all of you, I
hope you can feel my amour sincere. you're all my Valentine.
it's my daughters last week of training!!! yikes that just
went by so quick. she's grown up so big and fast it's just terrifying.
transfers are this week so we will see if I'll stay with her or go somewhere
stupid. just kidding nowhere is stupid but I adore raiatea. wish I could just
hang with sr dmunch and mami and sr jaquet and sr padbury for the rest of my
life.
actually I wanna just group up every single person I
love and put them in one accessible place that I could always talk to all
of them and party and be joyful. I guess that's what the celestial
kingdom is for. :) CANT WAIT FOR DEATH lol you know I'm not serious but man
when Jesus comes again we will sing and laugh and feel like a three year old at
an aquarium!! no, even better! if you were into that kinda stuff when you were
three... I was
we had an interesting week with lessons. tons of our rdvs
fell through so we found some new people to teach who are pretty cool. who also
didn't understand much of what we were saying. we taught these three ladies
about prophets while one of their sons was climbing up and down the windshield
of a nearby truck, and we asked if they had any questions at the end of what we
were saying. one of the ladies says,
"ohhhh, so the rain is what purifies the earth!"
(we had talked about Noah) one of the other ladies said
"no stupid, they were talking about the Red Sea. it
killed pharaoh." *shoots us a glance "am I right?"
sometimes I get lost in my own lessons.
Friday we had a talent show with the ward, it was so boss!!
we laughed soooo hard! Président gave sr dumouchel and I permission to play
"my girl" (shoutout to my pal Tdrans) so we did with our DMP and
his daughter. much laughter.
other advice: pigs are faster and meaner than you think. and
kind of rabid. don't let them charge at you

guys!! whoah i got some stuff in the mail this week from
like octoberish :) thanks so much for sending that stuff. dad your letter was
really really nice, the one about stress relief on the mission hahaha. i sang a
lot of mary poppins this week in your honor. "chim
chimmeney..."
isaac your letter made me laugh so hard. man im so sorry i
got your jesus statue that you were supposed to receive for your birthday. what
did you end up getting for your bday anyway? and im also happy there are more
privileges at school now and more drama. do you have any drama? i remember in
6th grade some people were already holding hands. EW.
Speaking of love, happy valentines day! we didnt do
anything. i forgot about it. but i love you al so so so much :) what did you
all do? ian did you buy yoself a playa phone? cute sweethearts pics btw. what
did you do for the date? aj and nicole i finally received your wedding
invitation in the mail. i wish i wouldnt have, youre just too purty! no
seriously though, i opened it and the room went hushed cause all the other
missionaries just stared at it. "who IS that???"

teesh! i saw some pictures of you that mom sent me, you are
so CUTE!! :) so are your friends. were you skating on the pool? i did that one
time and i fell in the water. that was fun.
i had to tell president about that time i crashed into a
peach tree. he was impressed that im living

tonight! dont leave the poor woman to watch dances with wolves all alone! dont

dad thanks for praying for mario. i am so pumped he is
baptised and he received the aaronic priesthood yesterday. but we have a
problem now where hes kind of fallen in love with me. he bought me sandals,
some really fancy earrings, and a breast cancer necklace. i dont know if hes
aware it symbolized breast cancer. it will protect me from harm maybe. but yep
the life is uncomfortable with that one

Chili like faith 2/13/17
Whoops. I Didnt really save Time for this e-mail. Also this
french autocorrect is crazy and im back to an english keyboard ao
there mai ne even more errors than last week! Woohoo!
Had an intéresting week. I think everything happened this
week. All the things possible. I went through some serious teen-age
angst, a really awful cold, even more bowel issues, some minor skin infections,
a thousand mosquito bites, and very painful food poisoning! I was up like all
night friday night puking because i accidentally ate... Something bad. It might
have been some old boiled eggs at someones house but we arent sure. It was
actually kind of funnt it's fun to have weird sicknesses you have never had
Bedford.
I mean before.
But then on saturday Mario was baptised !!!! Oh man...
Coolest thing ever. N'es so faithful. Ive never seem anyone w so much chili
like faith. Oh gosh i meant childlike
And it really was an are some week im so happy
:)
Anyway il send more ne te week cause im out of Time! And i

this email will consist of a sequence of details or facts
that you may be interested in. mostly cause I told myself when I came on
the mission I would always know what to write home about but that was a lie. ;)
Bon appetite!
I have only knocked on a door 2 times on my mission. never
seen a doorbell. "contacting" means walking up to a house and yelling
IAORANA and hoping someone comes out. if the windows and doors are closed, it
means no one is home. if people don't want to talk to you, they will behind their
curtains even if they know you saw them.
I've been yelled at by so many angry Papas this
week. ask me if I'm sick of trying to reason with people's
stubborn parents? I am. they think with their feet and not with their
heads. yeah their kid can sleep with whoever they want but NO THEY WILL NOT BE
BAPTISED. NEVER. even if they really really want to and need to. gr.
sometimes Mario's baptism gets repushed to next Saturday cause of his angry dad
even though he's 27.
also I'm no longer afraid to be yelled at by some angry
papi. #sufferingforjesus. what can men do? nothing!
sometimes we have so much fruit on our table at home they we
need to throw it away cause it goes bad. and sometimes we come home with 3
meals and a cake that people hand over to us. THEN WE GO EAT AGAIN
and other times you fast twice during the week,
then you eat too many lentils and raw fish which mess up your digestive
tract and get the runs real good during weekly planning
it's a good thing im or the driver cause I'd crash the car
staring at how blue the ocean is
the wind blew the rain into our room last night and made a
little puddle
I am designing a t shirt with me sr dumouchel and mami's
faces on it.
sometimes you do,t think you've ever loved someone as much
as you love the mami who lives with you. and sometimes you all out on hats and
play songs together while she uses a fork and a spoon to drum along.
I feel blessed when people wear t shirts.
we taught a mami yesterday who has an afro and she shrieks
and runs her hands through it when she laughs. then she prays with her eyes
wide open, staring at your face and it's kind of scary.
sometimes you feel enlightened enough to get up in church
and bear your testimony in Tahitian. and those are the times when the Tahitians
will cry.
all I want to eat is toast and blueberry muffins. and
my moms homemade bread. I haven't seen those things in 12 years
when you see a puppy that is not diseases and not
disgustingly dirty, you hold that puppy.
sometimes you tell mami about how much you love muffins and
she thinks you said "morphine" and asks calmly if you want to die
one thing (among the many things) I absolutely love
about this culture is how they just own it. they can be size -0 or XXXXL, tall
or short, have flowing mermaid hair or a little tiny patch right on top of
their head, they can have 29 teeth or 6. it does,t matter to them. they just
OWN IT. self acceptance is a beautiful thing I think we lack in America. just
feel good about how you were made :)
another thing I love is laughter. when we laugh in
polynesie, we laugh with our whole bodies! huge rolling laughs and such
giant smiles. life is funny as heck with these people. :)
another thing i love is sr Gwen dumouchel. we've planned out
all of our adventures for later in life including being rapunzel and Elsa for
Halloween and backpacking in Canada. for the moment we are having the best
adventure of missionary work in faaroa :) so happy heavenly father dropped her
outta heaven for me
sometimes you feel so thankful for the other sisters who
live with you, for your sister who lives in Hyde park Utah still, and for the
fact that the centipede outside which is as long as your pencil didn't come
inside. sometimes you are so grateful for God you pray all day
and sometimes you think that transfers are coming soon and
you cry one night because of how bad you don't wanna leave or face the racing
time coming to an end.

1/30/17 Throw out the marajuana
gosh i feel like i was just here at this computer. the
life just zips by oh my. cant get much better than this :)
the other day i just had a realization that im on a tiny
island with thousands of miles of nothing but.... OCEAN. on all sides of me!! i
got this panicky feeling inside of me. they told me that would happen hahaha
ive been here too long... but on the other hand i really dont wanna go back to
america. when paradise is your reality you should just enjoy it ;)
oh i forgot to celebrate last time that ive been out
halfway!!! yahoo! can you guys even believe that? i sure cannot. i love it here
more and more every day. its so weird also that my little fille is growing up
and we only have 4 weeks left of her training. shes such a swaggy little
missionary i can credit myself for that. #proudmom
im just kidding its really all her fault shes wonderful. i
hope i stay with her for the rest of my mission. good luck with that one
we have a baptism this saturday for Mario and holy smoley i
love this guy. perfect example of childlike faith. he just threw out all of his
marijuana and beer this week because he told us God told him to. We hadnt even
had time to teach him about that stuff yet, the word of wisdom and all
that.
the new mission changes are interesting. actually we have
had changes for like 4 weeks now (im not sure why this mission was early). but
yeah we wake up at 6 am now and sleep at 10:30 and do our planning in the
morning which is weird. not that any of you care all that much but just in
case.
funny story: our dmp is so insane. he is the one who was
recently crushed by a rock. but anyway he came to a lesson with us this week
and i was there saying something super duper intensely spiritual when out of
the corner of my eye i see him leave the room of the chapel. i kept sort of
watching him, wondering what the heck he was doing, when he broke into a run
towards this group of birds. his run turned into a very epic and stupid looking
ninja kick and the birds scattered everywhere. when he landed he landed a
little weird so he had to catch himself weirdly too and it just looked so
funny, the whole situation, that still in the middle of my important sentence i
busted up and couldnt stop. i kept trying to continue the lesson but i couldnt
get a hold of myself.
its my moms fault she cant stop laughing about stupid things
also
another strange creature is a mosquito. the past week I have
woken up with more bug bites than I thought were real and an annoying buzzing
in my ear. yesterday morning a bug bit my upper lip and I had a nice lil kisser
there for the morning hahahaha
don't know why they decided to go insane all of a sudden. I
just hope I don't get lice like the other sisters in our house did
#prayforme
speaking of praying dad asked for people i want you to pray
for. that's very kind :) I don't have time to talk about all of them but
Samantha, anselme, Jason, Alfred, Mario, Hoiana, tehaunui,
Pierre, Rameta, June, rachelle, ruta, kobo, Joelle, Angelique, and
tom.
there a nice list of some souls in need :)
anyway I think both the "daughter" activities and
the "son" activities sounded really fun. I know you're all just
jealous of the Tahitian activities so that's why you send me lame things you do
with your lives. peasants. ;) I'm really proud of ma and pa gogan also!!!
when's trek? y'all are guna spit somethin right nice into them spirits of
the yunguns.
I heard the new Petes dragon is good? except there's no
candle on the water. I've been singing that all week.
there's an elder Meyers here in my district from blanding.
:) he's super funny. we talk about the briar patch a lot :) hahaha yay
blanding! Gma and gpa pincock how is the ward missionary work going?
you're really really amazing ware missionaries. we don't actually have any of
those in our ward because they all went inactive before I got here. so if you
ever get discouraged, know you're magnifying your callings a whole lot.
