ho ho ho howdy world 12/19/16

ho ho ho!! howdy world i hope everyone is doing just fine and dandy as candy

candy is all ive eaten lately hahaha yayyy for toblerone and bonbon chinoise!!! chocolate in tahiti is to die for i decided to never come back to i didnt mean to end that email there haha whoops sorry everyone. but anyway, the point is we dont have kinder in america cause some kid choked on a toy and then they got sued so this wonderful goodness was taken out of our country. sad day

but this week was good! we were able to fix the baptismal dates for jean eudes and pierre. hahaha we only teach single older hippie men who live alone and fish or garden or hike for a living. #faapu

but the fishing they do here is actually insane. its not just your average grab a hook and a worm and go get a trout kind of deal. we were talking to pierre about his occupation and he explained to us that he gets all dressed up in his wet suit and goggles and fins, grabs a harpoon, and then he dives into the water very deep to go and shoot some great massive beasts in the ocean!! he just goes right down there with no oxygen for like 4 minutes at a time and harpoons some din din! in the dark! he memorized how the fish "breathe" or blow bubbles and then he uses like echolocation or something to that effect. people are crazy. i think they are fish actually. fish are good friends.

other things that happened:
sr jaquet found my keys to my bike in the freezer after 3 weeks of them being lost. dont ask how they got there
i had a dream last night it snowed here and i was super pumped until i realized how cold snow is. then i was ok
sr dumouchel and i turned into the most basic of white girls
and i think this week took the cake for the most sweaty week of my existence. its a good thing we cant date on the mission because with sweat tacos like this i wouldnt catch any fish of the sea
we tried to do service for lighttheworld but every time we tried to wash dishes or help clean things out of the garden we were met with a violent array of protest from whoever owned the thing. "sisters!!!! leave it sisters thats my job!!! SISTERS LEAVE IT I WANT TO DO IT YOU CANT DO IT!!!!" and we tried still to continue but then they used means of phyiscal force to throw us out of their work areas. tahitians are very protective of their work domains. if you want to see someone turn into a gorilla, try to do their dishes
we played with a lizard and named him randy
we named our van shadowfax.
we made guacomole

merry christmas everyone. i have a spiritual thought but i realize now i have no time to share it but i will just say i know jesus christ lives RIGHT NOW. isnt that cool? he is somewhere and he knows each and every one of us very perfectly and specifically. he knows our weaknesses and our strengths and most importantly our POTENTIAL. he has given us the chance to meet that potential, that godly and wonderful potential to become just like him one day. that is why we are here, to learn to become like him. :) what a wonderful gift and a glory, to know him by knowing his children and knowing his words.

it is impossible without him. but all is possible with him. ALL THINGS

I LOVE YOUUUUUUUU EAT SOME CANDY AND SHAKE SOME TINSEL
Have a merry christmas all of my heart. i wish i could give the world a hug right now
